Voisto — Privacy Policy

Voisto is a voice-first to-do app that organizes your tasks into an Eisenhower matrix. This policy explains, in plain language, what data the app touches and what it does with it.
Short version
- Your audio never leaves your iPhone. Speech is transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework.
- Only the transcribed text of a task (for example "Call Peter tomorrow") is sent to Google Gemini through a Cloudflare Worker to classify it into a quadrant and parse deadlines. Nothing else.
- Tasks are stored locally on your iPhone in a JSON file. Voisto has no accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics, and no advertising.
- You can turn AI classification off in Settings, and you can erase all data with one tap.
Data we access on your device
- Microphone — only while you press and hold the record button. Audio is processed by Apple Speech Recognition on-device.
- Speech Recognition — Apple's on-device Russian model turns audio into text. Voisto never sees or stores the audio itself.
- Notifications — local notifications only, scheduled for task deadlines you set.
Data we send off your device
- Task text is sent to a Cloudflare Worker (
voisto-proxy.krylova.workers.dev), which forwards it to Google Gemini for classification and deadline parsing. The Cloudflare Worker does not log the text.

- You can disable this in Settings → AI Task Recognition. With AI off, dictated text is stored locally as a plain task with no cloud round-trip.
Data we do not collect
- No analytics, no tracking, no ad IDs.
- No contacts, no location, no photos.
- No accounts — there is nothing to sign into.
Third parties
- Apple — on-device Speech Recognition (audio never leaves the device).
- Google Gemini — text-only classification of your tasks.
- Cloudflare — infrastructure that proxies the classification request.
Data retention and deletion
All tasks are stored in a local file inside the app's sandbox on your iPhone. Uninstalling the app deletes everything. Inside the app, Settings → Erase all tasks removes every task instantly.
